Nocturnes, op. 9 are a set of three solo piano nocturnes written by Frédéric Chopin between 1831 and 1832, published in 1832 and dedicated to Madame Marie Pleyel, this is the first movement in B flat minor, Op. 9 no. 1. These were the first set of nocturnes published by Chopin.
